A Tribute to Family, Legacy, and Innovation
ANTA and Kyrie Irving are proud to introduce the latest ANTA KAI 1 SPEED.
This special edition, named the "Twin Flame" colorway, is a heartfelt tribute to the love story of Kyrie's parents, Elizabeth and Drederick Irving.
Drederick Irving has collaborated closely with the ANTA USDC team to bring this unique design to life. "Shoutout to my Pops, he really gave a lot of his input into these, it's his little brainchild, this was him coming to life and making these - really a part of his legacy."
The "Twin Flame" colorway celebrates the bond that began at Boston University, where Drederick played basketball, and Elizabeth excelled on the volleyball team.
"I think it really surprised the heck out of him when I signed him as my signature athlete. I kinda just dropped it on him like 'yo dad you gonna be my first signature athlete’,” recounted Kyrie. We can’t wait for you to see these special shoes on the court.

According to Kyrie Irving, "It has my dad's name and my mom's name, if you know anything about my story, you know she has had a huge impact on my life. She's a very meaningful ancestor that's always around me, giving my guidance and making sure everything is good on a spiritual level.”
